My people's people

Last month Scarlet made her first drawings of decipherable people. It made my DAY!! I watched her draw the head and put eyes on it and arms and legs and I just about exploded with GLEE. How can something like that make me so happy. If drawing a big headed alien person (duh they were princesses)makes my heart burst, how am I going to contain myself when she starts reading or writing her name!! Or heaven forbid, that far distant day she marches off with her little back pack to her first day of school. Enough. It is all just too much sometimes. Meet Scarlet's people.
